Slice & Fold is a Neapolitan-inspired pizza concept in Perth created by a passionate chef and owner of a well-known local pizza shop. After working with dough, ingredients, and flavour combinations, the chef wanted to build a concept that focused purely on what he loved most about pizza making — the craft of dough and the beauty of simple, flavourful ingredients.

Slice & Fold was created to deliver the spirit of traditional Italian pizza in a way that fits modern dining and delivery. The idea was simple: create pizza that captures the character of Neapolitan pizza without needing a traditional wood-fired oven, while still delivering the same balance of flavour, texture, and satisfaction.

The result is a menu built around handcrafted pizzas, folded calzones, pizza dogs, and flavourful sides designed for everyday enjoyment.

From Dough Experiment to Pizza Concept

The idea for Slice & Fold began during the process of refining a signature pizza dough that the chef had been developing for years. Inspired by the light texture and simplicity of Neapolitan pizza, he focused on creating a dough that produced a crisp edge while remaining soft and warm in the centre.

While many traditional Neapolitan pizzas rely on wood-fired ovens, the goal here was to create a dough that performed beautifully in a modern oven while maintaining the flavour and character of traditional Italian pizza.

After countless dough batches, testing ingredient balances, and refining techniques, the concept of Slice & Fold was born — a focused pizza brand built around flavour, simplicity, and accessibility.
